SOCIAL PASSION PROJECT Update October 2022.

Our Social Passion Project is our social commitment to the mental health and general wellbeing in our community and this is our third annual update. This is an active project which lives and breathes the Social aspect of ESG and serves to demonstrate that businesses can serve their community in line with their values, no matter their size. We receive no financial support for the services we provide.

The background

We started this project in 2019 with a Mental Health Hackathon and our purpose is to support mental health through eliminating stigma and improving access to assistance. The original Hackathon showed that there are three things needed to improve the mental health and general wellbeing in our community:

  1. Wider education around mental health and wellbeing
  2. To have an opportunity to share lessons learned across businesses
  3. To educate employers so that they implement effective wellbeing strategies

We have continued to build on our impact to support the mental health and wellbeing across our community and across the globe.

Recognition for our contribution in 2022

event well award

In October 2022 we were awarded ‘Supplier of the Year 2022’ by Eventwell, the wellbeing support organisation for event planners. It has been our privilege to provided their members with free support by way of talks and workshops for several years.

This is what they said about us:

“In celebration of Event Wellbeing Week 2022, I am delighted to advise you that the EventWell Awards 2022 judges have selected Discover Your Bounce for an award. In light of the contribution you are making not only to the world of mental health and wellbeing, but also your outstanding contribution to the event industry, we are delighted to present you with an EventWell Awards 2022 recognition award, for Supplier of the Year. The current climate has meant that we are not in the position to be able to run the awards in the original format that we would have liked, however, we did not want this week to pass by without shining a light on the amazing work you are doing”

Helen Moon, CEO Eventwell.

This year we reached our target of 100 contributors to these books!

We now have the following titles.
